I have been going back to work from 10 - Midnight to check on second shift, back up at 5 to go to work on first shift. I think I need a break. Probably not as much as you do though.

Any suggestions on finding "pet friendly" vacations? I like to take my 50 lb dog with me whenever possible... Will rent houses when possible.

Okay, there must be a way that you and another vet could take each other's emergency calls so you can get away for a few days...
And if you find a babysitter, you could even try this thing called "sleep." You might remember it from your childhood?
I had a professor in vet school that used to say "Sleep is a habit you'll learn to break." :D
