I noticed the first thread in this topic was related to starting a blog. I have been fooling around (yes a webmaster wana be too) with websites for friends businesses or organizations. I have decided to stop creating static web sites and create sites using blog software.
Here are two examples:
http://homesfortmill.com (http://homesfortmill.com)(my wife's real estate site/blog)
http://tegacaymomsclub.com (http://tegacaymomsclub.com)(the front page is static via wordpress)
Another site I have converted to a blog is for Michelle Shirleys Tega Cay Petnanny website. I have kept the old static front page and the rest of the site is a wordpress blog.
http://tegacaypetnanny.com (http://tegacaypetnanny.com)
So I would say yes to a blog. It is eaier to maintain the site from the backend, but it takes alot of work to keep post current and fresh.
I like what you have done with the pet picture post
